AFAS Integration with SkillsTown Platform

This document provides a high-level overview of the integration between AFAS and the SkillsTown Platform. The integration supports three main functionalities:

  1. Organization Structure Synchronization
    Regularly updates the department structure in SkillsTown to match your organization structure in AFAS.

NOTE

If we install the integration in an existing situation, there are two options: 1) Remove existing departments or 2) Manually link AFAS IDs to existing departments within SkillsTown. Your designated Learning Professional can assist in making the right choice and execution.

  1. User Provisioning
    Regularly provisions and deprovisions users in SkillsTown based on the HRM system AFAS.

  2. Certificate Logging
    Regularly adds achieved certificates within the SkillsTown platform to the employee file in AFAS.
