1. Set up a Single Sign-On Application in your Identity Provider

Please consult the documentation of your Identity Provider, we have no knowledge of your specific setup and are not certified Azure sysadmins.

Use the following data for the configuration:

Identifier (Entity ID) https://identity.onlineacademy.nl/saml

Reply URL

Sign-on URL

User Claims

SkillsTown supports the fields: nameidentifier, emailaddress, givenname, surname, companyname, department and jobtitle. Configure the following claim attributes (The bold items are required. Other items are optional):

Note that http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/ is not part of the last 3 claims

2. Send the metadata URL for this application to SkillsTown

Azure Tip

If you're using Azure as your IDP, you can find the Metadata URL under App Federation Metadata URL and it will look like below: https://login.microsoftonline.com/<Directory ID>/federationmetadata/2007-06/federationmetadata.xml?appid=<Application ID>

3. Testing

After receiving the metadata URL, we will finish configuration in the Inspire platform. As soon as we have configured your Inspire platform, we will ask you to test login through the Sign-on URL. When this test has been completed, we’re ready for launch.
